ORDER:
The following promotions, transfers and postings of certain IPS Officers are
notified with immediate effect:


1. Sri T.P.Das, IPS, (RR:1979), Director General, Special Protection Force,
Hyderabad is transferred and posted as Director General, Prisons & Director
Correctional Services, relieving Sri Vivek Dube, IPS from the additional
charge.


2. Smt.Aruna M.Bahuguna, IPS (RR:1979), Additional Director General of Police, A.P.S.P. Hyderabad is hereby promoted to the rank of Director General of Police, in the HAG + Scale of RS.75,500-80,000 + Grade Pay 0 - Annual
Increment @ 3%,. On promotion she is transferred and posted as Chairman,
A.P. State Police Housing Corporation Ltd., Hyderabad.


3. Sri S.A.Huda, IPS (RR:1979), Additional Director General of Police (Law &
Order), Hyderabad is hereby promoted to the rank of Director General of
Police, in situ, in the HAG + Scale of RS.75,500-80,000 + Grade Pay 0 -
Annual Increment @ 3%, and is retained as Director General of Police, (Law &
Order) by temporarily adding a post in the DGP grade in exercise of powers
conferred under the second proviso to Rule 4 (2) of IPS Cadre Rules, 1954.


4. Sri Lokendra Sharma, IPS (RR:1980), on leave, is posted as Director
General, Special Protection Force in the rank of Additional Director General of
Police, vice Sri T.P.Das, IPS, transferred.


5. Sri Madanlal, IPS (RR:1980), Additional Director General of Police, Home
Guards, is transferred and posted as Managing Director, A.P. State Police
Housing Corporation Ltd., Hyderabad vice Sri J.V.Ramudu, IPS, transferred.


6. On transfer, Sri J.V.Ramudu, IPS (RR:1981), is posted as Additional Director
General of Police, Greyhounds, vice Sri Anurag Sharma, IPS, transferred.


7. On transfer Sri Anurag Sharma, IPS (RR:1981), is posted as Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, vice Sri A.K.Khan, IPS, transferred.


8. On transfer, the services of Sri A.K.Khan, IPS (RR:1981), are placed at the
disposal of the T.R.&B Department for appointment as Vice Chairman &
Managing Director, A.P.S.R.T.C. vice Sri B.Prasada Rao, IPS, transferred.


9. Sri Damodar Goutam Sawang, IPS, (RR:1986), waiting for posting on return
from UN deputation is hereby promoted to the rank of Additional Director
General of Police, in the HAG Scale Rs.67000 - Rs.79,000 +0 (Annual
increment @ 3%). On promotion he is posted as Additional Director General
of Police, A.P.S.P. vice Smt. Aruna M.Bahuguna, IPS, transferred.

Sri B.Prasada Rao IPS, (RR:1979), Vice Chairman & Managing Director,
A.P.S.R.T.C. Hyderabad who is in the rank of Additional Director General of Police, is hereby promoted to the rank of Director General of Police, in the HAG + Scale of RS.75,500-80,000 + Grade Pay 0 - Annual Increment @ 3%. On promotion his services are withdrawn from the T.R.&B Department and is posted as Director General, Anti Corruption Bureau, A.P. Hyderabad, relieving Sri D.Boobathi Babu, IPS from the additional charge.
