ORDER:
In the reference 5th
read above, Government have issued orders regarding introduction of Urdu as one
of the languages in addition to English and Telugu for SIs and PCs written
examination in objective tests and Urdu language Test is introduced in place of
Telugu language test for the candidates who opted to write the language test in
Urdu for SIs.
2. The
Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad , in his letter dated. 15.5.2012,
has informed that after receipt of Govt. orders against their letter,
Rc.No.1212/R&T/Rect.2/2011, dated 21.02.2012, it is decided to issue the
following notifications again without changing all other conditions and invite
the applications only from the candidates those who have not submitted the
applications earlier and opted to write the written examinations in Urdu
language only.

In
the circumstances reported by the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh,
Hyderabad, in the reference 8th read above, Government, after
careful examination of the matter, permission is hereby accorded to the
Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, to permit those
candidates who have applied and interested to write examination in URDU
language, by issuing a supplementary notification and taking steps
to that end. The notification would be
in the nature of correction of omission in the present notification vis-à-vis
G.O.Ms.No.315, Home (Legal.II) Dept. dated. 13.10.1999.

The
DGP, A.P., Hyderabad
is, therefore, requested to take necessary action in the matter, accordingly.
