ORDER:

Government hereby establish the Andhra Pradesh Environment Protection Training and Research Institute (APEPTRI) as an independent and autonomous society to be registered under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001.  Government also constitute the Governing Body of the APEPTRI with the following members to manage the affairs of the society.

1. Chief Secretary to Government - Chairman
2. Director General, APEPTRI - Vice Chairman
3. Special Chief Secretary/Principal - Member
Secretary/Secretary, EFS&T Department
4. Special Chief Secretary/Principal - Member
Secretary/Secretary, Industries Department
5. Special Chief Secretary/Principal - Member
Secretary/Secretary, MA&UD Department
6. Additional Secretary/Joint Secretary, - Member
Ministry of Environment, Forest &
Climate Change, Government of India
7. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & - Member
Head of the Forest Force.
8. Member Secretary, APPCB - Member
9. Director, Indian Institute of Chemical - Member
Technology (IICT) or his nominee
10.President, Federation of AP Chambers of - Member
     Commerce & Industry (FAPCCI)

2. The APEPTRI shall function as an independent and autonomous institution without any financial support from the State Government and will be self sustaining with its own project earnings.  Act 2 of 1994 will not be also applicable to the institution.

3. Government hereby approve the Memorandum of Association, Rules & Regulations and Bye-Laws and further direct that the APEPTRI shall be registered immediately under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001 with head quarters at Vijayawada.
