Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved 4 today

ACC appointments

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following:

1)      Continuation of the assignment of additional charge of the post of Chairperson, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India to Shri Bhanu Pratap Sharma, IAS(BH:81), Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare for a period of three months  beyond 03.04.2015 or till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

2)      Extension of tenure of Shri J.S. Deepak, IAS (UP:82), Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce& Industry for a period of six months beyond 8.4.2015 i.e. from 9.4.2015 to 8.10.2015.

3)      Appointment of Ms. Sushma Suri, Additional Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs for a period of one year on contract basis after her superannuation on 31.3.2015.

4)      Upgradation of the Grade - l post presently held by Shri Sibabrata Tripathi (IFS:79)

to that of Secretary (Special Assignment) and Appointment of Shri Sibabrata Tripathi to the upgraded post until 31.05.2015, where after the post would return to its original Grade-1 position.
