ORDER:
Government have announced the location for new capital at Amaravati located in two districts. 
The preparation of the master plan for the new capital is underway with the assistance of agencies of Singapore Government namely Sarbana and Jurang while indicating plan for infrastructure facility provided for the city master plan. 
It is essential to have detailed master plan for the various
infrastructure facilities by the time the construction starts later during the year.
Further it is also necessary to prepare detailed designs and drawings in all infrastructure projects where the method of contracting is item rate as norm in the State Government. 
Further the options of various technical alternatives for
the infrastructure projects need to be analyzed for the purpose of optimization of the infrastructure cost.

2. The process of preparation of infrastructure master plan is generally handled by the consultants with experience in construction of green field cities, redeveloping of existing cities. 
As Government of Andhra Pradesh is embarking
on capital city construction which is a very large infrastructure project, it is essential to have well qualified infrastructure master planning, consultant selected through competitive bidding.

3. Government, after careful consideration of the matter in consultation with the R&B Dept., Energy Dept., Infrastructure & Investment Dept., and APTRANSCO, 
hereby nominate the committee with the following terms.

a) Vetting the RFP document for selection of consultant for
preparation of Master Plan for infrastructure for capital cities
with a specific focus on eligibility criteria, modifying or adding wherever necessary, and,

b) Evaluation of the bids received for the consultants.
Constitution of the Committee:

1. Sri M.Jaganndha Rao, Managing Director, 
    A.P. Road Development Corporation, Hyderabad.

2. Sri Devadas, Chief Engineer, 
   Construction 400 KV, APTRANSCO

3. Sri V.Ramudu, Director, Planning, CRDA, Vijayawada.

4. Sri Shiva Rao, Senior Legal Advisor, Energy Dept.,

5. Sri S.Ramesh, HOD, 
     School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada

6. Sri Pratap, Joint Director (Promotion), IT Dept.,

7. Sri D.Kasi Visweswara Rao, CE, CRDA, Vijayawada.

8. Sri Prakash Gaur, Director,
    Strategy, CRDA, Vijayawada –Convenor.

4. The above committee shall submit the document after appropriate additions and modifications etc., within a week of this order. 
They shall also meet as and when required at Hyderabad for expeditious completion of bid evaluation and other related issues.
