O R D E R:

        In the reference 1st read above, the Government of Andhra Pradesh

have issued Admission Rules for admissions to be made in the Unaided

Non-Minority Professional Institutions (Regulation of Admissions into

Under-Graduate and Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy) Professional Courses

through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2011.

2. In the reference 3rd read above, Government of Telangana have

adapted the above rules.

3. Accordingly, the following Notification shall be published in the

Extra Ordinary Issue of the Telangana State Gazette, dated.09.07.2015

                                        NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3 and 15 of the

Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and

Prohibition of Capitation Fee) Act, 1983, (Act No.5 of 1983), the

Government of Telangana hereby makes the following amendments to the

Telangana Unaided Non-Minority Professional Institutions (Regulation of

Admissions into Under-Graduate and Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy)

Professional Courses through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2011 issued

in G.O.Ms.No.74, Higher Education (EC.2) Department, dated 28.07.2011

and as subsequently amended from time to time.

                                      AMENDMENTS

In rule 7 (3) of the said rules under the sub heading “(2)

Reservation for Special Categories. the clause (a) sub-clause (ii), the

following shall be substituted as namely:-

(ii)Children of Armed Forces (CAP) - 2% (two percent) for the

children of armed persons i.e., Ex-Servicemen, Defence Personnel

including the Children of Border Security Force and Central

Reserve Police Force who are Domiciled in Telangana based on

the Permanent address / Home town declared by them while

joining the service and as recorded in their Service Register".

Entrance Test Rules, 2006.
