ORDER:-

            In the G.O. 1st read above, Govt. have constituted State Level and District
Level Committees for implementation of “Mass Media Support to Agriculture
Extension (MMSAE)” Scheme, to envisage and to utilize infrastructure of
Doordarshan (DD) and All India Radio(AIR) to produce and transmit programs and
topic in Agriculture and allied fields as requested by the Government of India.

2. The Director of Agriculture, Telangana, Hyderabad vide reference 2nd read
above has requested the Govt. to constitute a State Level Committee with the
revised members in the State of Telangana in view of the bifurcation of the State.

3. Government, after careful examination of the proposal, hereby constitute a
State Level Agricultural Mass Media Committee for implementation of “Mass Media
Support to Agriculture Extension (MMSAE)” Scheme with the following composition:

1. APC & Secretary to Government (A&C) … Chairman
2. Secretary to Government Rural Development Department … Member
3. State Level Representative from Doordarshan … Member
4. State Level Representative from AIR … Member
5. Chairman of Inter-Media Policy Coordinator Committee
        (MPCC) at the State Level … Member
6. Director Research of State Level Agriculture Universities … Member
7. One farmer representing from the IKP District Federations of Adilabad, Khammam,
          Warangal and Nizamabad … Member
8. Director of Agriculture of the State. … Member-Secretary

4. The mandate of the Committee as stipulated in the G.O.1st read above holds
good.

5. The Director of Agriculture, Telangana, Hyderabad, shall take further
necessary action accordingly.
