ORDER:

                                 In the G.O. 1st read above, orders were issued for comprehensive and

consolidated instructions and guidelines to consider the cases for regularization of

existing unregistered fresh water aquaculture farms and also for registering new fresh

water aquaculture farms in the State.

2. In the G.O. 2nd read above, orders were issued for comprehensive and

consolidated instructions and guidelines for taking up Tilapia Fish Hatchery/ Breeding/

Nursery/ Grow-out Farming in Fresh water/ Inland farms.

3. In the G.O 3rd read above, orders were issued for amendment to G.O.Ms.No.7,

Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries (Fish-II) Department, dated

16.3.2013.

4. During the discussions held on 04.06.2015 with the MPEDA, Chairman by the

Chief Secretary to Government of Andhra Pradesh, it was considered essential to carry

out amendments to the orders issued to the reference 2nd read above, for taking up

Tilapia Fish Hatchery/ Breeding/ Nursery/ Grow-out Farming in Fresh water/ Inland

farms in view of the fact that Coastal Aquaculture Authority is concerned into regarding

Aquaculture only in saline or brackish water and not in fresh water.

5. The Commissioner of Fisheries, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad in the reference 4th

read above has proposed certain amendments to G.O.Ms.No.20, Animal Husbandry,

Dairy Development and Fisheries (Fish) Department, dated 27.11.2014.

6. After careful consideration of the matter, Government hereby made the following

amendments to G.O.Ms.No.20, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries

(Fish) Department, dated 27.11.2014.

                              AMENDMENTS

The following amendments are issued to G.O.Ms.No.20, Animal Husbandry, Dairy

Development and Fisheries (Fish) Department, dated: 27.11.2014:

7. The Commissioner of Fisheries, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad shall take necessary

action in the matter, accordingly.
