ORDER
In the circumstances reported by the Commissioner & Director of Agriculture, Andhra
Pradesh, Hyderabad in the Letter 3rd read above and in the light of the approval received
from the Department of Agriculture & Cooperation, Government of India and in continuation
of Notification Orders issued in G.O. 1st read above, Government after examination of the
proposal of Commissioner & Director of Agriculture, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad hereby
extended the Cutoff date upto 31.7.2015 for Groundnut Crop in respect of Loanee farmers of
Rayalaseema Region viz., Kadapa, Kurnool, Ananthapur and Chittoor Districts under
Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme (WBCIS) for Kharif 2015 season subject to the
following conditions:

i. The coverage during the extended period shall be available only for the crops
sown during the extended period.

ii. Risk for Phase-I (both rainfall volume & distribution) i.e., 10th July to 5th August
would not be covered. Accordingly, the sum insured & premium amount for
remaining risk period would also be reduced. Reduced total Sum insured
would be Rs.21,550/- in place of Rs.26250/-.

iii. The Bank should remit the premium with declaration (in respect of loanee
farmers) to insurance company by 16.8.2015.

2. The revised seasonality discipline, sum insured and term sheets vide Annexure I.1 to
I.4 applicable to the extended period are appended to this order.

3. The Commissioner & Director of Agriculture, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad shall take
necessary action in the matter.
