ORDER:
The Transport, Roads & Buildings (TR.II) Department
in the reference
2ndread above have reported that the RTC
authorities have stated that the
existing regions of the Greater Hyderabad Zone viz.,
Hyderabad and
Secunderabad Regions having reached abnormal size in
terms of numbers of
depots and peculiarities of operations in old city,
Hi-tech city, industrial
areas, educational hubs etc., varying widely, it has
become difficult to ensure
effective control on operations, maintenances, relations
with public, police,
govt. officials etc., and RMs / DVMs finding it
increasingly difficult to
discharge their responsibilities. Keeping in view the
demographical changes
and to cater to the needs of the commuters, the RTC has
proposed to
bifurcate the Greater Hyderabad Zone into Four regions
viz., 1.Charminar
Region, 2.Dilsukhnagar Region, 3.Kukatpally Region and
4.Secunderabad
Region, which exclusively cater to operate in the twin
cities of Hyderabad
and Secunderabad. Therefore, the RTC authorities have
requested to
sanction two additional posts in the cadre of Regional
Manager / Head of the
Department in RTC for the proposed two new Regions
consequent to
bifurcation of Greater Hyderabad Zone into four Regions
in place of existing
two Regions, so as to improve city operations and brand
image of Hyderabad.
2. Government after careful consideration of the matter,
hereby accord
sanction for creation of two (2) posts in the cadre of
