Appointment of Judges at Calcutta High Court 


In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri Justices (i) Indrajit Chatterjee, (ii) Shib Sadhan Sadhu,(iii) Sudip Ahluwalia, (iv) Tapash Mookherjee, (v) Ranjit Kumar Bag, (vi) Ishan Chandra Das, (vii) Smt. Sampati Chatterjee, (viii) Sahidullah Munshi, (ix) Subrata Talukdar, (x) Tapabrata Chakraborty, (xi) Arindam Sinha, (xii) Arijit Banerjee, and (xiii) Debangsu Basak,Additional Judges of the Calcutta High Court, to be Judges of the Calcutta High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.

New Chief Justice of Gauhati & Rajasthan High Court 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Ajit Singh, Judge of the Rajasthan High Court, to be the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office. 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Satish Kumar Mittal, Judge of the Punjab & Haryana High Court, to be Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

Appointment and Transferes of Judges in the Different High Courts 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri Justices (i) Asapu Ramalingeswara Rao, (ii) Dama Seshadri Naidu, (iii) Bulusu Siva Sankara Rao, (iv) Mandhata Seetharama Murti, (v) Saripella Ravi Kumar, (vi) Upmaka Durga Prasad Rao, (vii) Talluri Sunil Chowdary, (viii) Mallavolu Satyanarayana Murthy, (ix) Misrilal Sunil Kishore Jaiswal, (x) Ambati Shankar Narayana and (xi) Smt. Anis, Additional Judges of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, to be Judges of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri Justices (i) Zaka Azizul Haq, (ii) Shriram Kalpathi Rajendran, (iii) Gautam Shirish Patel, (iv) Atul Sharachchandra Chandurkar, (v) Smt. Anuja Prabhudessai ,Additional Judges of the Bombay High Court, to be Judges of the Bombay High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to transfer Shri Justice Chinnasamy Swaminathan Karnan, Judge of the Madras High Court, as a Judge of the Calcutta High Court and to direct him to assume charge of his office in the Calcutta High Court on or before 11th March, 2016.

Appointment of Judges in the Different High Courts 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri Justices (i) Arakalagudu Venkataramaiah Chandrashekara, (ii) Smt. Rathnakala, (iii) Budihal Rudrappa Bhimappa, (iv) Pradeep Dattatraya Waingankar and (v) Koratagere Narasimha Murthy Phaneendra, Additional Judges of the Karnataka High Court, to be Judges of the Karnataka High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri Justices (i) Puttekadan Ubaid, (ii) Kandathil Abraham Mathew, (iii) Alexander Thomas, (iv) Muhamed Mustaque Ayumantakath, (v) Ala Kunnil Jayasankaran Nambiar, and (vi) Anil Kalavampara Narendran, Additional Judges of the Kerala High Court, to be Judges of the Kerala High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri Justices (i) Manindra Mohan Shrivastava, (ii) Goutam Bhaduri, (iii) Sanjay Kumar Agrawal, (iv) Puthichira Sam Koshy, (v) Inder Singh Uboweja, and (vi) Chandra Bhushan Bajpai, Additional Judges of the Chhattisgarh High Court, to be Judges of the Chhattisgarh High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh, Additional Judge of the Patna High Court, to be a Judge of the Patna High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
