Read the following:
1. G.O.Ms.No.30, H.E.(TE.I) Deptt., Dt.6.4.2011.

O R D E R:
In the reference 1st read above, orders were issued to establish 25 Skill Development Centers in the State to offer a stimulating environment with greater importance on developing the ability of students to think logically and decisively and a sound grounding in work ethics.
2. In the reference 2nd read above, the CTE, Hyderabad has proposed for formation of SDC Advisory council and SDC Committee (State Level) for effective functioning of the Skill Development Centers.
3. Government after careful examination of the proposal of the CTE, Hyderabad in the reference 2nd read above, hereby constitute the following SDC Advisory Council and State Level SDC Committee for a period of 3 (three) years :

4. The SDC Advisory Council shall meet on quarterly basis every year and provide their esteemed guidance and all-round support. The Council will give direction and advice on policy matters for effective implementation of SDCs. An honorarium of Rs. 3,000 per member/ meeting will be paid from the SDC account to the members attending the meeting.

5. The State Level SDC Committee shall meet once in a month on every 2nd Wednesday and will
meet as many times as required for effective planning and guidance to the SDC MC. An
honorarium of Rs. Rs.1,000/- per member / meeting will be paid from the SDC account to the
members attending the meeting.
6. The functions of the SDC State Level Committee include constitution of sub Committees,
selection of new SDCs, Planning, budgeting, addition or deletion of programs, collaboration with
Industries, fixation of fees, infrastructural requirements, review on the functioning of SDCs and all
other important matters.
State level implementation arrangements:
7. All the policy matters and implementation of the programme will be based on the
recommendations of the SDC Advisory Council (SDC AC).
8. The Commissioner of Technical Education, Hyderabad shall take necessary action in the matter
accordingly.
9. This orders issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.HE) Deptt., vide their U.O.No.1300/29/ Expr.HE/ 2012, Dt. 22.2.2012.
