ORDER:

In Government Order read above, orders were issued increasing the rates of special pays to certain categories and sanctioning special pay afresh to some categories. Along with the other categories the Special Pay that was attached to the post of Secretary to State Legislature was increased from Rs.700/- to Rs.750/- per month with effect from 1-4-2010. On

account of the enormous increase in the duties and responsibilities of the Secretary, Legislature due to the constitution of A.P. Legislative Council during March, 2007, it was requested to enhance the Special Pay attached to the post of Secretary to Legislature.

2. Government after careful examination hereby sanction Rs.1300/- per month as Special Pay to the post of Secretary to State Legislature for attending arduous nature of duties assigned to the post, in addition to the Special Pay of Rs.750/- per month already attached to this post.

3. These orders shall come into force with effect from the issue of these orders.

4. Necessary amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Manual of Special Pays and Allowances shall be issued in due course.
