ORDER:-
In the reference 4th read above, the then Hon’ble Minister for PE &SSA
made a statement on the floor of the A.P.Legislative Council that vide G.O.
2nd read above, the Commissioner & Director of School Education, was
permitted to constitute a Committee to submit a report for strengthening of
SCERT by providing budgetary allocation and to up date the syllabi to all
classes with the available latest inventions and explorations. The Hon’ble
Minister (PE &SSA)has assured that after receipt of the Committee’s report,
a decision will be taken for improvement of SCERT, by taking advise /
instructions of the MLCs and other professionals.
2. The Committee was constituted by the Commissioner & Director of
School Education, A.P.Hyderabad on strengthening of SCERT and the
committee has submitted their report vide reference 5th read above.
3. In the reference 8th read above, the Director, SCERT, A.P. Hyderabad
has reported the Government of India, constituted a committee on
restructuring and reorganization of centrally sponsored scheme on Teacher
Education and issued draft guidelines and frame work for strengthening
existing teacher education institutions i.e. DIETs, CTEs, IASEs and SCERTs
and hence, he has requested the Government to issue necessary orders for
constituting a new Committee to study the report given by the earlier
Committee on strengthening of SCERT and also examine the guidelines and
frame work of implementation of Teacher Education Institutions issued by
Government of India, New Delhi.
4. The Director, SCERT, Hyderabad has further reported that in the light
of recommendations issued by Government of India on the restructuring of
Teacher Education Institutions including SCERT with appropriate financial
support, it is proposed to re-examine the issue of strengthening of SCERT
duly examining two reports viz., (i) report submitted by the earlier
Committee on strengthening of SCERT and (ii) draft guidelines issued by
Government of India during April, 2012 pertaining to strengthening of
SCERT.
5. Government, after careful examination of the above proposals of
SCERT, hereby constitute a new committee to re-examine the report
submitted by the earlier Committee on strengthening of SCERT and also
draft guidelines issued by Government of India during April, 2012 pertaining
to strengthening of SCERT with the following members:-

5. Dr.H.K.Dewan Vidya Bhavan Society, Rajasthan - Member
6. One Member from NGO (Nominated by SCERT- Member
7. Two Professors from SCERT “” “” - Members (Dept of C&T and Teacher’s Education)
8. DEO, Rangareddy - Members
9. Principal, DIET, Adilabad - Member
10. Principal, CTE, Kurnool - Member
11. Principal IASE, Rajamandri - Member

6. The Committee is directed to examine the matter in detail keeping in
view the above two issues i.e. (i) earlier Committee’s report and (ii)
Government of India guidelines and submit their report along with specific
recommendations to the Government within (One) month so as to enable
the Government to take a decision and to furnish a “Implementation Report”
to the Committee on Assurances, A.P. Legislative Council, as desired.
7. The Director, SCERT, A.P.Hyderabad is, requested to take necessary
action accordingly.
