Police - (31) Civil Assistant Surgeon posts

Read the following:-

ORDER:
In the reference first cited the DGP, AP, Hyderabad, has sent proposals for setting up of (31) Dispensaries at the Police Commissionerate / District Police Headquarters along with creation of (31) Civil Assistant Surgeon posts, with the following sanctions:
(a) Sanction of (31) Medical Officers of the rank of Civil Assistant Surgeon @ one each at all the Police Commissionerates / District
Police Headquarters.
(b) Sanction of Rs. 93 lakhs @ Rs. 3 lakhs for each of 31 Police Commissionerates / District Police Headquarters for rennovating
the existing premises for locating the proposed dispensaries.
(c) Sanction of (i) Laboratory, (ii) Physiotherapy Room and (iii) other Basic Infrastructure at all the 31 Police Commissionerates / District
Police Headquarters.
(d) Sanction of one number of “Semi Automated Bio Chemistry Analyser Model EC 5 Plus V2” at each of the (10) Police
Battalions, out of 15 Police Battalions.
2. The DGP, AP, Hyderabad has therefore, requested to issue orders on the
following:-
(a) According administrative sanction for setting up of (31) Dispensaries at the Police Commissionerates / District Police
Headquarters, and creation of (31) posts of Civil Assistant Surgeons in the pay scale of Rs.18030-490-18520-530-20110-570-
21820-610-23650-650-25600-700-27700-750-29950-800-32350- 850-34900-900-37600-970-40510-1040-43630 (Revised scale of
pay in PRC 2010), one each at (31) Police Commissionerates / District Police Headquarters.
(b) Providing additional funds of Rs. 93 lakhs @ Rs.3 lakhs per each of the (31) Police Commissionerates / District Headquarters under
the head, “270-Maintenance” and also administrative sanction for carrying out minor repairs / works to locate the proposed
dispensaries at each of the Police Commissionerates / District Police Headquarters in relaxation of treasury control and quarterly
regulations.
(c) Providing additional funds of Rs. 25,57,500/- @ Rs. 82,500/- for each of the 31 Police units towards expenditure on chairs, tables,
almirahs, wheel chair and stool under the head, “130/132-Other Office Expenses” in relaxation of treasury control and quarterly
regulations.
(d) Providing additional funds of (a) 1,91,42,500/- @ Rs.6,17,500/- for each of the 31 Police units towards expenditure on
establishment of Laboratory, Physiotherapy room and other basic infrastructural facilities, and (b) Rs. 15,00,000/- towards purchase
of one No. of “Semi Automated Bio Chemistry Analyser Model EC 5 Plus V2” @ Rs. 1,50,000/- at each of the (10) Police
Battalions out of 15 Police Battalions, totalling Rs. 2,06,42,500/- under the head, “210/211-Materials and Supplies” in relaxation of
treasury control and quarterly regulations.
3. Government after careful examination in the matter, hereby sanction (31) posts of Civil Assistant Surgeons for Police Commissionerate / District Head Quarters, subject to condition that these posts shall be filled only on deputation from the
Medical & Health Department. The Home Department may move proposals separately on paras 2 (b), (c) and (d) above.
4. The Home Department is requested to take further follow-up action in the matter, accordingly.
