In the
meeting of the Cadre Restructuring Committee, held today, the following
decisions were arrived for restructuring of the below mentioned categories:-

The %age
distribution for the category of Trackmen was also discussed in the said
meeting and the Railway Board proposed GP Rs.2800 from the existing 3% to 6%,
GP Rs.2400 from the existing 6% to 12%, GP Rs.1900 from existing 20% to 22% and
GP Rs.1800 from 71% to 60%. The same was not agreed to by the AIRF, however, it
was agreed to by the Railway Board to review the matter further.
