Appointing Sri Kambhampati Rammohana Rao, former MP, as Special Representative of Government of AP in New Delhi

Delhi – Terms and Conditions – Orders – Issued.

O R D E R:  

          In the G.O.read above orders were  issued appointing Sri Kambhampati

Rammohana Rao, former Member of Parliament, as Special Representative  of Government

of Andhra Pradesh at New Delhi.  Further it was also ordered therein that the terms and

conditions of Special Representative of Government of Andhra Pradesh at New Delhi with

Cabinet Minister status will be issued separately. 

2. The terms and conditions of the appointment  of Spl. Representative of Govt. of A.P., 

at  New Delhi, shall be as follows: 

   

a) the term of appointment will be for a period of two years from the 

date of assuming office.

        b)   he will hold the rank of Cabinet Minister

c)   he will have his Office accommodation at A.P.Bhavan, New Delhi 

and rent free accommodation at New Delhi.

d) he will draw pay and allowances on par with the Cabinet Minister

e) he will be entitled to 3 telephones, with STD facility, i.e two phones for Office and 

one for residence

f) he will also be entitled to have the following staff in his peshi: 

I) Private Secretary (1) post (Gazetted):

Rs.18,030-43,630/- or the scale of pay which the individual is Drawing in his 

parent Department whichever is beneficial to him, with special pay of as per rules

in force for attending duties in the peshi. 

       

II) Additional Private Secretaries/Personal Assistant (2) posts:

  Rs.14,860-39,540/-   respectively or the scale of pay which the individual is    

       drawing in his parent Department whichever is be beneficial to the individual and 

        special pay is as per rules in force for attending duties in the peshi. 

   III) Additional Driver (1) Post:

   Rs. 7,960-23,650/-   or the scale of pay which the individual is drawing in his 

   parent Dept. and whichever is beneficial to the individual and Special Pay is as   

   per rules in force attached to the post of Driver in lieu of Additional Driver, he is 

   eligible to Draw Rs.8,000/- P.M. to have an outsider as Addl. Driver. 

IV) Jamedar (1) Post:

       Rs.7,520-22,430/- or the scale of pay which the individual is drawing in his parent Dept., 

whichever is beneficial to him and a Special pay and conveyance allowance is as per rule in

force. 

    V) Attenders (3) Posts:

         Rs.6,700-20,110 /- or the scale of pay which the individual is Drawing in his parent Dept., 

         whichever is beneficial to the Individual and Special Pay and conveyance allowance is as  

         per Rules in force.  He is also eligible to draw an amount of Rs. 6,700/-  P.M. in lieu of 2 

         residential attenders and one Sweeper.

3.   All the above staff shall be appointed on tenure basis only.

4.  The expenditure shall be debited to “2070-Other Administrative Services-115-

Government Hostels and Government Houses – 05-APGH, New Delhi-010-Salaries”.

5.    The Resident Commissioner, A.P.Bhavan is requested to take necessary action providing of

staff, Telephone with STD facility, Government Car, Driver, Accommodation for both Office and

Residence to the Special Representative of Government of A.P., New Delhi and for drawal of

Salaries.

6.   This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Dept., vide their PFS.No.65/PFS/14.
