NIESBUD is an apex Institute in
the area of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development under the Ministry of Micro, Small and
Medium Enterprises Government of
India. The basic objectives for which the Institute has been established are:
Promotion and Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises including
Enhancement of their Competitiveness through various activities. The Institute
has conducted a total of 9,822 different Training Programmes covering 2,54,289
participants which includes 163 International training programmes with 2,586
participants from more than 125 countries till 31st March 2014.

The Institute in its approach
to expand its training activities and to fulfil the SKILL DEVLOPMENT MISSION of
Govt. of India, is conducting Skill Development Programmes in the states of
Jharkhand, Bihar, New Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Chhattisgarh,
Orissa, Uttarakhand, West Bengal & Uttar Pradesh. The stream of training
are related to IT, Retail, Hotel , Garment, Light Engineering & other
related industries. We invite Placement Agencies/Industry Partners in the
abovementioned states to join hands with us so that skilled manpower can be
supplied to the relevant Industry. We will appreciate if such agencies can help
us to provide Industry/Placement oriented training by visiting our ongoing
training programmes and guide our trainees regarding the Industry’s requirement
