O R D E R:-
The Government of India (GOI) have formulated National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture (NMSA) for enhancing agricultural productivity especially in rainfed areas focusing on integrated farming, water use efficiency, soil health management and synergizing resource conservation. The NMSA Mission Structure is having three tier structure for planning, implementation and monitoring of various components. The National Level Architecture is constituted with National Advisory Committee (NAC) and
Project Sanctioning Committee (PSC), and Standing Technical Committee at National level. At State level as per NMSA guide lines, State may set up Standing Technical Committee (SSTC) to provide technical advisory to State Mission.

2. In the letter 2nd read above the Commissioner of Horticulture, Telangana State has requested the Government to constitute the SSTC with 18 members to function as Technical Advisory to the SLC of the NMSA Scheme.

3. Government after careful examination of the matter hereby constitute the
Standing Technical Committee (SSTC), on On Farm Water Management (OFMA) with following members :-

1) Professor, Micro Irrigation Expert, ANGRAU, Hyderabad…. Member.

4. The SSTC shall suggest modalities for sustainable agriculture practices based on R&D experiences and local requirements to formulate Mission Implementation Plan.

5. The SSTC shall meet at least once in three months and submit its report to the STC on the implementation of NMSA along with technical inputs.

6. The Commissioner of Horticulture, Telangana, Hyderabad shall take necessary further action in the matter accordingly.
