Caste certificates are not issuing to Budagajangala in AP -Question and Answer

Will the Minister for Social Welfare be pleased to State :


       Question


a) Whether it has been brought to the notice of the Government that caste certificates have not been issued to Budagajangala in the State; and


b) if so, the steps being taken by the Government in this regard?

a) Yes Sir
 

b) A Commission headed by Hon’ble Justice Motilal B. Naik (Retired) has been appointed to study and recommend on the existence & status of certain SC communities including Beda(Budaga) Jangalu in the State of united AP so as to send recommendation of the State Government in this regard to
Government of India.


Subsequently, it was decided to reconstitute the Commission with three members as the subject to be studied is vast and affects large section of people in the State. The constitution of the Three Men Commission in the State of AP is under process.
