O R D E R:
The Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Telangana State,
Hyderabad in her letter 1st read above has stated that, there are 137
clear vacancies of sanctioned Lecturer posts with 100% requirement of
teaching faculty. There is a dire need to fill up these posts by engaging at
least contract faculty so that classes can be conducted. She has further
stated that, there are Thirty Six (36) contract Lecturers working in Govt.
Degree Colleges in Telangana were disengaged/ disturbed due to posting
of regular Lecturers or for in having no secured 40% pass percentage in
University examinations in all the papers taught in aggregate in subject
concerned, maternity and health problems from 2006 to 2013, are
requesting to renew them as contract Lecturers in existing 137 vacancies
and requested for appropriate orders in the matter.
2. The Government have decided that the request for re-engaging the
contract lecturers who were terminated for (1) Low results and (2) Non
availability of vacancies, due to joining of direct recruits, out of the (36)
persons as reported in the reference 1st read above, be considered in the
available vacancies, as a one time concession.
3. Accordingly, the Government hereby accord permission to the
Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Telangana State, Hyderabad for
re-engaging (36) contract lecturers earlier worked in Govt. Degree
Colleges in Telangana and who were disengaged/ disturbed due to posting
of regular Lecturers or for in having not secured 40% pass percentage in
University examinations in all the papers taught in aggregate in subject
concerned, maternity and health problems from 2006 to 2013, in the
existing (137) clear vacancies in Govt. Degree Colleges, as a one time
concession.
4. The Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Telangana State,
Hyderabad shall take necessary action accordingly.
5. This order is issued with the concurrence of Finance (HRM.I)
Dept., vide their U.O.No.3801/141/A3/HRM.I/2014, Dt.27.10.2014.
