ORDER:
Government of Telangana have launched an ambitious project of
greening the State, with the name “Telangana Ku Haritha Haram”, a flagship
programme with a target to plant 230 crore seedlings in 3 years, duly
involving all the Govt. Departments, Local Bodies, Corporations and all the
stakeholders of the society.
2.  In the G.O. 2 nd cited, Government have constituted the District Level
and State Level Monitoring and Coordination Committees for continuous
monitoring of the progress of implementation of Telangana Ku Haritha Haram
Programme. These Committees are monitoring the programme at District
and State Level, respectively, with all the concerned officials.
3.  Considering the target for the year 2014-15, and to give clarity of
roles and responsibilities of the line departments, including budgetary
support, there is need to review Haritha Haram programme. Hence, it is
necessary to constitute a State Level Steering Committee for effective
decision making related to Telangana Ku Haritha Haram.
4.  Accordingly, Government hereby constitute the State Level Steering
Committee with the following composition:

                                       

5.  The State Level Steering Committee will review the progress of the
programme  and  suggest  appropriate  interventions  for  effective
implementation of “Telangana Ku Haritha Haram”, from time to time.
6.  The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Telangana, Hyderabad shall
take necessary action accordingly.
