O R D E R:

The Government have to notify delegates from the Parsi Community

to aid the Hon’ble Court in deciding cases under the Parsi Marriage and Divorce

Act-1936.

2. The Director, Minorities Welfare, Hyderabad in the reference 2nd

read above has reported that 15 members were appointed as delegates under

the Parsi Marriage and Divorce Act-1936 in the reference 1st read above and that

the ten (10) years term of the said delegates expired on 14.04.2013 as per

Section 25 of the said Act. In the reference 3rd read above, the Secretary of

Parsi Zoroastrian Anjuman of Secunderabad and Hyderabad has therefore

proposed a fresh panel of 15 persons for being nominated as members of their

community so as to aid the court in the adjudication of cases arising under the

said Act (i.e. Parsi Marriage and Divorce Act-1936). In the reference 4th read

above, as per Sections 24 and 25 of the Parsi Marriage and Divorce Act-1936

circular has been issued to the local Parsis of Hyderabad and Secunderabad

giving an opportunity to express their opinion /views/objections, if any, on or

before 26.09.2015. No objections have been received from the local Parsis,

before the specified date.

3. In view of the above Government hereby accept the

recommendations made by the Secretary, Parsi Zoroastrian Anjuman and order

to appoint the following persons as delegates to aid in the adjudication of cases

arising under the Parsi Marriage and Divorce Act-1936: -

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the Powers conferred under Section 25 read with

Section 24 of the Parsi Marriage and Divorce Act-1936 (Central Act 3 of 1936),

the Governor of Telangana hereby appoints the following persons as delegates

to aid in the adjudication of cases arising under the said Act in the State of

Telangana for a period of 10 years: -
