ORDER:
In the G.O. 1st read above,
Government have accorded permission for the sale price and subsidy pattern in
respect of certain seeds for distribution to the farmers under different
schemes during Kharif 2016.
2) Keeping in view the declaration of the year
2016-17 as “International Year of Pulses”, Government, in a review meeting held
on 13.05.2016, have decided to promote the pulses i.e., Red gram, Green gram
and Black gram crops in place of Cotton during Kharif 2016. Accordingly, Government have decided to
supply Red gram, Green gram and Black gram seeds to the farmers on subsidy as per the net sale price fixed during
Kharif 2015, without enhancement for the benefit of the farming community
and to bring more area under pulses cultivation during Kharif 2016.
3) In partial modification of the orders
issued in the G.O. 1st read above, the Government hereby fix the
following net sale price for distribution of Red gram, Green gram and Black gram seeds to the farmers on subsidy during
Kharif 2016
Red gram .. Rs.6230 per Qtl. (Farmer Price)
(LRG-41 C/s)
Green gram.. Rs.6235 per Qtl. (Farmer price)
Black gram .. Rs.5470 per Qtl.
(Farmer price)
4) The Director of Agriculture, Telangana,
Hyderabad shall take further necessary action in the matter.
