               In the circumstances reported by the President, Telangana State
Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Hyderabad in the reference
read above and based on the recommendations of the Selection
Committee, Government hereby appoint the following persons as
Presidents of District Consumer Fora, subject to verification of antecedents.

2. The above appointments are made on full time basis. The President of the District Consumer Forum shall hold office for a period of five (5) years or upto the age of 65 years whichever is earlier. They shall perform the duties and discharge the functions in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 as amended from time to time and rules made thereunder. They shall draw a consolidated amount of Rs. 51,550/- (Rupees fifty one thousand five hundred and fifty only) towards honorarium per month during the term of office. The individual appointed in para -1 above, shall not be entitled for travelling allowance or conveyance allowance for attending to the office of the District Consumer Forum from their place of residence.

3. The above appointment is purely on temporary basis and is liable to be terminated at any time without prior notice and without assigning any reason.

4. Before assuming the office, they shall file an undertaking in the prescribed proforma along with bio-data.

5. The appended notification will be published in English and Telugu in the Telangana Gazette.

6. The Commissioner, Printing, Stationary and Stores purchases, Hyderabad shall publish the notification in the next extra-ordinary issue of the Telangana Gazettee and send 50 copies of the notification to this Department immediately after publication for record.

7. The Director of Translation, Hyderabad, shall furnish the translation of the notification immediately in the English and Telugu languages concerned to the Commissioner of Printing, Stationary and Stores Purchases, Hyderabad to enable him to publish the same in the
Telangana Gazette under intimation to Government.
