O R D E R:
           In the G.O. 1st read above, orders were issued for Assignment of Agriculture land
to the welfare of personnel of Ex-Servicemen and their dependents belonging to the State
of Andhra Pradesh.

2. In the letter 2nd read above, the Director Sainik Welfare has requested to modify
the orders issued in the G.O.1st read above by issue of amendment to the para 8 of
G.O.Ms.No.743, Revenue Dept., dt.30.04.1963 for extension of time limit from 12 months
to 36 months for applying to the Assignment of Agriculture Land to the Ex-Servicemen and
their dependents belonging to the State of Andhra Pradesh.

3. Government after careful examination, hereby issue the following amendment to
the orders issued in the G.O.Ms.No.743, Revenue Department, dated: 30.04.1963.

AMENDMENT

Para No.	Existing Rule	Amendment
8	The applications shall be made within twelve months from the date of discharge or in the case of death on active service, from the date of intimation to the family of the deceased.	The applications shall be made within 3 years from the date of discharge or in the case of death on active service, from the date of intimation to the family of the deceased.

4. The Spl. C.S. & Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, A.P. and all the
District Collectors shall take necessary action accordingly.
