 The following notification will be published in an Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated: 28.05.2018.

                             NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government of Andhra Pradesh declared the services in the Water Works Department, Electricity Department, Health and Sanitation Department, Medical Department, Engineering Department (Maintenance
Section), Transport Department, Canteen Department including M.T.V. Annaprasada Complex, Vigilance and Security Department, S.V.Dairy Farm (S.V.
Gosamrakshanasala) Temple Administration (Queue Complex, Temple, Potu, Local Temples), Kalyanakatta Complex, Reception at Tirupati and Tirumala which are
under the administrative control of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati as “Essential Services” under Sub-clause (vi) of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 2 of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Andhra Pradesh Act of 1971).

2. And whereas, the Government have prohibited the strikes in all the said essential services under the control of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati for a period of six months vide G.O.Rt.No.1216, Revenue (Endts.III)
Department dated:22.11.2017. The said period of six months expired by 23.05.2018.

3. And whereas, the Government are satisfied that in the public interest, it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in all the above said essential services under the control of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati for a further period of six months with effect from 24.05.2018 to 23.11.2018.

4. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 (3) of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Andhra Pradesh Act, 20/71), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby prohibit strikes in the
aforesaid essential services under the control of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati for a period of six months with effect from 24.05.2018 to 23.11.2018.
