ORDER:

 In accordance with the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and in the circumstances stated by the Director of Employment and Training, Telangana, Hyderabad in the letter read above, Government after careful examination of the matter hereby constitute the District Apprentice Committee (DAC) for the State of Telangana under Apprentices Act,1961 with the following members for all the 31 Districts in the State :-

1. District Collector as Chairman
2. Principal (DCP) ITI as convener
3. District Industries Manager from Industries Department as Member
4. Principals of all Government and Private ITIs in the District as member.
5. Deputy Commissioner of Labour / Assistant Commissioner of Labour of the District as member
6. District Employment Officer - Member
7. Inspector of Factories - Member
8. Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes - Member
9. Executive Engineer, Roads and Buildings
and Irrigation Departments - as members
10. Representative of Power Distribution Company - as member 

The role of the District Apprentice Committee Constituted in the para (1) above shall be as follows:-

• To conduct Monthly review meetings for monitoring the implementation of NAPS for enrolling maximum establishments and apprentices under the scheme.

• To conduct awareness programs on NAPS for the benefit of Establishments and Apprentices.

• To co-ordinate with State Apprentice Council for various activities involved in the effective implementation of NAPS.

• The Principals of ITIs shall visit all the Establishments and register them in the Apprentice portal and conduct job fairs to enroll trainees in the portal. 

The Director of Employment and Training, Telangana, Hyderabad who is the State Apprentice Advisor in the Central Apprenticeship Council shall take necessary action in the matter.
