COLLEGIATE EDUCATION – Sanction of 45 Teaching posts, 9 Non-Teaching posts & 18Non-Teaching posts on Contract basis to the newly sanctioned three (3) Government Degree
Colleges from the academic year 2011-12 i.e., 1) Government Degree College, Pathapatnam,
Srikakulam District, 2) Government Degree College (Co-Education), Araku Valley,
Visakhapatnam District, and 3) Government Degree College (Women), Marripalem (V),
Koyyuru(M) Visakhapatnam District – Orders – Issued.

O R D E R:
In the G.O. first read above, orders were issued according administrative sanction for
setting up of the following three (3) new Government Degree Colleges from the academic year
2011-2012 with B.A., B.Com and B.Sc.(Conventional Courses):-
1) Government Degree College, Pathapatnam, Srikakulam District,
2) Government Degree College (Co-Education), Araku Valley, Visakhapatnam
District and
3) Government Degree College (Women), Marripalem (V), Koyyuru(M) Visakhapatnam District.
2. In the reference second read above, the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, A.P.,
Hyderabad has requested to sanction the following Teaching posts, Non-Teaching posts and
Non-Teaching posts on Contract basis to the newly established (3) Government Degree
Colleges for effective functioning of the Colleges:-

3. After careful examination of the matter, the Government hereby accord
sanction of 45 Teaching posts, 9 Non-Teaching posts & 18 Non-Teaching posts on
Contract basis to the newly sanctioned (3) Government Degree Colleges from the
academic year 2011-12 i.e., 1) Government Degree College, Pathapatnam, Srikakulam
District, 2) Government Degree College (Co-Education), Araku Valley, Visakhapatnam
District, and 3) Government Degree College (Women), Marripalem (V), Koyyuru(M)
Visakhapatnam District.
4. The Higher Education(CE-I) Department shall take further action in the matter
accordingly.
