According to Rule 3 of the Special Rules for the Central
Market Fund Service against the posts in category (3) & (4), Assistant
Executive Engineer/Assistant Engineer
the maximum age prescribed is 28 years as on 1st July of
the year in which the direct recruitment is made. In the G.O. 2nd read above,
Government have accorded
permission to the Commissioner & Director of
Agricultural Marketing, Andhra Pradesh,Hyderabad to recruit 60 Assistant
Executive Engineers and 12 Assistant Engineers
under Central Market Fund Service through paper
notification and the applicants applied through paper notification, and
sponsored through Employment Exchange shall have to be submitted to the
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University for conducting exam. The Commissioner
& Director of Agricultural Marketing issued notification on 1.4.2010 in
News papers inviting applications from those candidates who possess the
qualifications and with the maximum age limit of 38 years
as on 1.1.2010 but where as the maximum age limit prescribed in Central Market
Fund service for direct recruitment to the posts of Assistant Executive
Engineer / Assistant Engineer is 28 years as on 1st July of the year
of recruitment.
2. Whereas the Government have provisionally decided to
entrust direct recruitment to the posts of Assistant Executive Engineers /
Assistant Engineers in Central Market Fund Service to the Andhra Pradesh Public
Service Commission for making direct recruitment in cancellation of the earlier
orders in the G.O. 2nd read above in so far as it relates to entrustment of the
conducting of the examination to the Jawaharlal Nehru
Technological University for furnishing merit list. For
this purpose, the Government have also decided to adopt the existing provisions
of rule 12(1) (a) (v) of the Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service
Rules,1996, regarding the maximum age limit for direct recruitment to the posts
of Assistant Executive Engineers/Assistant Engineers in Central Market Fund
service which is 34 years as on 1st July of the year in which the recruitment
is made by issuing amendment to the Central Market Fund
Service Rules.
3. As required under sub section (4) of section 33 of the
A.P.(Agricultural Produce and Livestock) Markets Act, 1966 (Act 16 of 1966), a
Preliminary Notification has been issued in G.O. 5th read above and was
published in Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.14, Dated:22.5.2012 inviting objections
/ suggestions within 30 days from the date of
publication of Notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette
and that any objections /suggestions which will be received before expiry of
the said period will be considered by the Government. No objections /
suggestions have been received against the proposal
with in the stipulated time.
4. The Government therefore hereby entrust direct
recruitment to the posts of Assistant Executive Engineers/Assistant Engineers
in Central Market Fund Service to the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission
for making direct recruitment in cancellation of the earlier orders vide
reference 2nd read above in so far as it relates to entrustment of the
conducting of the examination to the
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological
University for furnishing merit list. For this purpose,
the Government have also decided to adopt the existing provisions of rule 12(1)
(a) (v) of the Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules,1996,
regarding the maximum age limit for direct recruitment to the posts of
Assistant Executive Engineers/Assistant Engineers in Central Market Fund
service is 34 years as on 1st July of the year in which the recruitment is made
by issue of amendment to the Central Market Fund Service Rules.
5. The following notification will be published in the
Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
FINAL NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1)
of Section 33 of the Andhra Pradesh (Agriculture Produce and Live Stock) Market
Act, (Act No. 16 of 1966), the Government here by makes the following
amendments to the Special Rules for the Central Market Fund Service issued in
G.O.Ms.No.407, Food and Agriculture (Agri.IV)
Department , dated 31st August, 1984 and published in the
rules supplement to Part-I, Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette,
dated 3rd September, 1984 as
amended from time, the same have been previously
published as required by subsection (4) of Section 33 of the said Act, vide
G.O.Ms.No.120, Agriculture &
Cooperation (AM.II) Department, dated 17th May, 2012 and
published in the Rules Supplement to Part-I Extraordinary issue of the Andhra
Pradesh Gazette, dated 22nd May, 2012.
AMENDMENTS
In the said rules, in rule 3 in the Table, under the heading, Group-I- Engineering Cell.
(a) In column (3) for item (ii) against category (3)
in column (1) and (i) by direct recruitment in
column (2), the following shall be substituted, namely;-
“ (ii) Must
not have completed 34 years of age as on
the 1st
July of the year in which the
recruitment
is made.”
(b) In column (3) for item (ii) against category (4)
in column(1) and (iii) by direct recruitment in
column (2) , the following shall be substituted, namely;-
“(ii) Must not have completed 34 years of age
as on
the 1st
July of the year in which the
recruitment
is made.”
