Civil Supplies Storage Amendment

Civil Supplies – Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Commodities Dealers (Licensing Storage and Regulation) Order, 2008 – Amendment – Notification – Orders Issued. ORDER:

In the G.O. 1st read above, the Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Commodities Dealers (Licensing, Storage and Regulation) Order, 2008 was issued requiring the Dealers to take licenses for Edible Oils and Edible Oilseeds, Rice, Pulses and Paddy and to maintain stock limits as prescribed under the said order. The said order was amended vide G.O. 7th read above in respect of Pulses, Edible Oil and Edible Oil Seeds and vide G.O.9th read above in respect of Rice and Paddy basing on the orders issued by Govt of India vide S.Os 6th and 8th read respectively.

2. The Government after examining the request of the Rice Millers of A.P. decided to increase marginal variation for the item of paddy from the existing 6% to 8% between ground balance and book balance and to retain the variation in rice at 6%.

3. The Commissioner of Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad is requested to publish the Notification in the Extra-ordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette on 25.09.2012. He is also requested to send 500 copies of the notification to this department immediately after publication for record.

4. The Director of Translation, Hyderabad is requested to furnish immediately the translation of the notification in the regional languages concerned to the Commissioner of Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad to enable him to publish the same in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette under intimation to the Government.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 3 and 5 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (Act 10 of 1955) read with Removal of (Licensing Requirements, Stock Limits and Movement Restrictions) on Specified Foodstuffs Fourth [Amendment] Order, 2011 issued vide S.O.No. 2716(E), dated 29.11.2011 of Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs,

Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, New Delhi, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Commodities Dealers (Licensing, Storage and Regulation) Order, 2008, issued in G.O.Ms.No.30, Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies (CS.I) Department dated 8th August, 2008 as amended from time to time.

AMENDMENT

In clause 18 of the said order, in sub-clause (2) in item (C) for the expression “6% variation between book balance and ground balance shall be allowed” the expression “8% variation between book balance and ground balance for paddy and 6% variation between book balance and ground balance for rice shall be allowed” shall be substituted.
