Creation of posts

ENERGY DEPARTMENT – Creation of thirty (30) posts; ten (10) Assistant
Executive Engineer (Civil), ten (10) Assistant Engineer/AAE (Civil) and ten (10)
Assistant Engineer/AAE (Electrical) for formation of ten (10) Survey &
Settlement sub-divisions in Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh
Limited (APTRANSCO) – Orders – Issued.

The Energy Department has informed that the Chairman & Managing
Director, APTRANSCO has stated that the APTRANSCO has been in the
business of transmission of Electricity at Extra High Voltage (EHV) levels
through 132KV, 220KV and 400KV transmission lines and Substations. To
meet the demand and to provide quality power, every year, APTRANSCO has
been taking up construction of new transmission lines & Substations. Before
taking up of construction of lines & Substations, APTRANSCO conducts survey
& investigation of the area. There is shortage of Civil Engineering posts in
APTRANSCO to conduct survey of transmission lines. The APTRANSCO has
examined the issue of shortage of surveyors and decided to establish ten (10)
Survey and Investigation (S&I) subdivisions @ 1 Sub-division for each
Construction Circle (Field), with the following staff pattern for each
Subdivision:

Assistant Executive Engineer/ Civil …. ........1 No.
Assistant Engineer/ AAE (Civil) …. ............1 No.
Assistant Engineer/ AAE (Electrical) …. ......1 No.
ITI (Draughtsman Civil trade) candidates .... 4 Nos (To be taken on
contract basis)


The Chairman & Managing Director, APTRANSCO has requested for
sanction of thirty (30) posts; ten (10) Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil); ten
(10) Assistant Engineer/AAE (Civil) and ten (10) Assistant Engineer/AAE
(Electrical) in APTRANSCO for formation of 10 Nos. Survey & Settlement
sub-divisions.

After careful examination of the proposal Government hereby accord
sanction for creation of following thirty posts in Transmission Corporation of
Andhra Pradesh Limited, Hyderabad:

The expenditure on account of creation of additional posts shall be born
by the Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited, Hyderabad.

ENERGY DEPARTMENT – Creation of nine (9) posts; viz., one (1)
Superintending Engineer (Civil) and eight (8) Executive Engineers (Civil)
duly suppressing five posts of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) and four
posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Andhra Pradesh Central Power
Distribution Company Limited (APCPDCL) – Orders – Issued.

The Energy Department has informed that, the Chairman & Managing
Director, Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Company Limited has
stated that the work load in the Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution
Company Limited area has increased considerably due to major step-up in
developmental activities taken up by the Government coupled with the
extraordinary economic growth in the Greater Hyderabad area. The average
growth rate of consumption is in the range of 15% per annum which need
continuous improvement of existing distribution network and addition of
new infrastructure, such as Sub-Stations, HT-LT Lines, Cables, Power
Transformers, Distribution Transformers, etc., spread over in the districts of
Anantapur, Kurnool, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Medak, Rangareddy and
Hyderabad. In view of the large construction activity, vast jurisdiction and
for better co-ordination at the Company level for maintenance of assets, he
has proposed to upgrade one post of Executive Engineer as Superintending
Engineer, 9 posts of Assistant Executive Engineer as Executive Engineer
and 4 posts of Assistant Engineer as Assistant Executive Engineer without
changing the overall cadre strength.

The Energy Department has proposed for upgradation of one post of
Executive Engineer as Superintending Engineer and 9 posts of Assistant
Executive Engineer as Executive Engineer and 4 posts of Assistant Engineer
as Assistant Executive Engineer without changing the total strength in
Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Company Limited.

After careful examination of the proposal Government hereby accord
sanction for creation of nine (9) posts duly suppressing five posts of
Assistant Executive Engineer and four posts of Assistant Engineer in
Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Company Limited, Hyderabad:
