Ministers – Constitution of Group of Ministers to examine the matters relating to the conduct of elections to the local bodies in Andhra Pradesh – Orders – Issued.

x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-Government hereby constitute a Group of Ministers with the following Ministers to examine the matters relating to the conduct of elections to the local bodies in Andhra Pradesh:

1.	Sri K. Jana Reddy, Minister for Panchayat Raj & Rural Water Supply.
2.	Sri M. Maheedhar Reddy, Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development.
3.	Sri Baswaraju Saraiah, Minister for Backward Classes Welfare.
4.	Dr. (Smt.) J.Geetha, Minister for Major Industries, Sugar, Commerce & Export Promotion.
5.	Sri N. Raghuveera Reddy, Minister for Revenue, Relief, Rehabilitation, ULC.
6.	Sri Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Minister for Information Technology & Communications.
7.	Sri K. Parthasarathi, Minister for Secondary Education, Govt. Examinations, A.P. Residential Educational Institutions Society, Hyderabad Public School, Intermediate Education, Excise & Prohibition.
8.	Sri Pithani Satyanarayana, Minister for Social Welfare.

2. The above Group of Ministers shall examine the recent judgements of the Supreme Court of India and the High Court of Andhra Pradesh on matters relating to the conduct of elections to the local bodies and submit its recommendations to the Government, so that the elections to the local bodies can be held at an early date. The Group of Ministers shall submit its recommendations at an early date.
