Maternity Benefit to the women workers up to 6 months

Read the following:-ORDER:
In the G.O. first read above, Government have introduced the Maternity enefit scheme to the registered women workers with the Andhra Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. According to clause (v) of para 3 of the said G.O., the climanant shall submit within one month from the date of delivery, an application form duly filled in with necessary documents to the local Assistant Labour Officer/ Assistant Commissioner of Labour or the Deputy
Commissioner of Labour in the District. The Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers
Welfare Board has proposed through his letter second read above for enhancement of time limit up to 6 months as available in the Andhra Pradesh Labour Welfare Board.
The Government after careful examination of the matter decided to accept the above proposal of Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board and accordingly, issue the following Amendment:-
                                 AMENDMENT
In clause (v) of para 3 of the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.62, Labour Employment Training & Factories (Lab.IV) Department, dated 27.07.2010 for the words “one month”, the words “six months” shall be substituted.
