the following:-G.O.Ms.No.12, CA, F&CS (CS-1) Dept, dated 27-02-2009. ORDER:
In
the G.O.1st read above, it was decided by the Government that the
Village Malls Scheme shall be extended to the Fair Price Shops in rural areas
in the State and the Fair Price Shops be permitted to sell the commodities
other than the commodities that are similar to or are being presently supplied
through Public Distribution System viz., Rice, Wheat, Sugar, Kerosene,
Palmolien Oil and Red Gram dal etc.
2. In
the reference 2nd read above, the Commissioner of Civil Supplies,
A.P., Hyderabad, has requested the Government to constitute a committee to
examine various aspects on implementation of Village Malls Scheme and to give
suggestions to Government.
3. Government,
after careful examination, hereby constitute a committee with the following
officials to examine various aspects on implementation of Village Malls Scheme
and to submit suggestions:-

4. The
Committee shall submit its report to Government within a period of 3 months
after issue of this order.
