In the G.O.5th
read above certain State Police Service Officers have been appointed to the
Indian Police Service with effect form the date of notification of the
Government of India. In the G.O.6th
read above, the postings to the newly appointed IPS officers have been
notified. In the G.O.7th read
above, certain ex.cadre posts have been created for the newly appointed I.P.S.
officers. In the G.O.8th
read above orders were issued for continuation of certain ex.cadre posts of IPS
in the A.P. for the year 2012-13 ( from 1.3.2012 to 28.2.2013).
2. The
Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad vide letter 9th read
above, has informed that twenty-six (26) Superintendent of Police (Non-Cadre)
were appointed to Indian Police Service vide G.O. 5th read above.
Further the State Government has notified the postings of all 26 IPS officers
vide G.O.6th read above. Out of the postings of 26 IPS officers, the
five (5) police officers who were working in SIB and CI Cell, Intelligence
Department as Superintendent of Police (Non-Cadre) were appointed to Indian
Police Service and posted in the Intelligence Department itself, but the wings
viz., SIB, CI Cells of the Department have not mentioned the nomenclatures of
the posts, vide G.O. 6th read above. The DGP has further informed that while
working as Superintendent of Police (Non-cadre) they were drawing the special
allowances for the duties in the SIB and C.I. Cell, prior to their appointment
to IPS in terms of the G.Os 1st to 4th read above. Now, they are not able to draw the Special
allowances attached to the SIB & CI cell wings, as their nomenclature of
the posts did not say that they are in the said SIB and CI Cell wings though
they are performing the same duties.

references 9th and 10th read above, the designations of
