ORDER:-

In the G.O. first read above, the Andhra Pradesh Colleges of Nursing (Admission

into Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course 2 years duration) Rules, 2009 were issued.

2. In the G.O. ninth read above, orders were issued to conduct Common Entrance

Test from the academic year 2013-14 for admission into Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

course.

3. In the letter tenth read above, the Registrar, DR.NTRUHS, Vijayawada has

requested to issue necessary amendments to the G.O.Ms.No.33, HM&FW (K1) Deptt.,dt. 5/3/2013 by specifying the modalities of Entrance Test, as follows:-

(1) Number of questions

(2) Syllabus of Entrance Test and

(3) Qualifying marks in the Entrance Test for OC,BC, SC & ST candidates

4. The Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby accept the

proposal of the Registrar, Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and have decided to amend the Andhra Pradesh Colleges of Nursing (Admission into Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course 2 years duration) Rules, 2009 issued in the G.O. 1st read above suitably.

Accordingly, the following notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh

Gazette.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 99 of the Andhra Pradesh

Education Act, 1982 (Act 1 of 1982), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes

the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Colleges of Nursing (Admission into

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course 2 years duration) Rules, 2009 issued in G.O. Ms.

No.269, HM&FW (K2) Department, Dt.30.11.2009 and as subsequently amended fromtime to time.

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, in clause (ii) of rule (6) after the words, “in the said test”, the

following shall be added, namely:-

“The modalities for Common Entrance Test for Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing) are as

detailed below:-

(a) The Entrance Test will be conducted basing on the qualifying examination

i.e., GNM course.

(b) The Syllabus for the Entrance Test shall be that of GNM course.

(c) Only those candidates who qualify in the Entrance Test are eligible for admission

into Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course.

(d) The Questions for the Entrance Test shall be 100 (one hundred only) Multiple

Choice Questions.

(e) The Qualifying Marks for Entrance Test will be 40% for OC, BC candidates and

30% for SC, ST candidates”.
