In the reference 1st

above, the Commissioner of Technical Education, A.P.,
Hyderabad has furnished the proposal
for sanctioning of (4) new Government Polytechnic
Colleges for the benefit of
Scheduled Tribes in Utnoor of Adilabad District, Medaram of
Warangal District, Rampachodavaram
of East Godavari District and Gummalaxmipuram of
Vizianagaram District to start with
two Diploma courses namely DME and DEEE with an intake
of (60) in each course from the academic
year 2013-14, which have market demand with an
estimated cost of Rs.654.00 Lakhs.
2. In the reference 2nd

above, the Commissioner of Technical Education, A.P.,
Hyderabad has furnished another
proposal for sanction of (1) new Government Polytechnic
College at Seetampeta of Srikakulam
District to start with two Diploma Courses namely Diploma
in Mechanical Engineering and
Diploma in Civil Engineering with an intake of (60) in each
course which have market demand with
an estimated cost of Rs.589.11 Lakhs.
3. In addition to the above,
Government is of the view that it would be appropriate to start
Government Polytechnic Colleges at
(1) Chintapalli of Visakhapatnam District with the courses
DCE, DEEE & DCME and (2)
K.R.Puram, West Godavari District with the Courses of DCE,
DEEE with an intake of (60) in each
course for the benefit of Scheduled Tribe students, as all
these places are located in the core
scheduled area of the State, where there is an immense
need to provide the benefit of
vocational training to the youth, so as to provide them better
future.
4. Government after careful
examination of the entire matter, hereby issue modified orders
to the reference 3rd
read
above, and accord Administrative Sanction to start the following Seven
(7) Government Residential
Polytechnics from the Academic Year 2013-14, subject to obtaining
the approval of AICTE New Delhi.

5. Separate Government orders will
be issued regarding sanction of posts for the said
Polytechnics.
6. The Commissioner of Technical
Education, A.P., Hyderabad shall take necessary action
for sending necessary proposals for
sanction of posts.
7. This order issues with the
concurrence of Finance (Exp.HE) Department vide their
U.O.No.9250/346/EHE/13, Dated:
18-04-2013.
