Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 – Employees working in the State Secretariat
Cadre - Order to Serve Provisionally in connection with affairs of the State of Telangana
under sub-section (1) of Section 77 of the Act 6 of 2014 - Orders – Issued.

Read the following:

4. Ministry of Personal, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of
Personnel, and Training Order No. 3 of F.No.27/12/2013-SR (S) dated 31.05.2014

O R D E R:

1. In the reference second read above, the Government of India has notified the Andhra
Pradesh Re-organization Act. 2014, reorganisting the existing State of Andhra Pradesh into
States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In the reference third read above, the
Government of India has notified June 02, 2014 as the appointed date for giving effect to the
AP Reorganisation Act, 2014.

2. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 77 of the Andhra
Pradesh Re-organization Act, 2014 (Act 6 of 2014), the Government of India, in the
reference fourth read above, has directed that the persons specified in Annexure to the above
said order, who belong to the cadre of the State Secretariat comprising all departments
serving in connection with the affairs of the existing state of Andhra Pradesh, shall serve
provisionally on and from the 2nd Day of June, 2014 in connection with the affairs of the
State of Telangana until further orders

3. In pursuance of the above directions of the Government of India, the Government
hereby order that the employees of the Secretariat Departments mentioned in Annexure of
this order, shall serve provisionally on and from the 2nd day of June, 2014, in connection
with the affairs of the State of Telangana until further orders from the Government of India.

4. This order shall not confer any right on these persons in respect of their final
allocation and the Government of India may finally allocate them to the any of the
successor States in accordance with the provisions of the Act and extant guidelines framed
thereunder.

5. The Special Chief Secretary / Principal Secretary / Secretary of the Departmentshall
relieve the employees mentioned in the Annexure immediately, with a direction to report
before the Secretary of the concerned department of the State of Telangana. The concerned
Secretary shall verify the entries in the Service Register and record a service verification
certificate in the Service Book of the Employees. The Special Chief Secretary / Principal
Secretary / Secretary of the Telangana Government shall inform the joining details of the
employee to the State Reorganisation Departments of the States of Andhra Pradesh and
Telangana.

6. The following Notification shall be published in the Gazette of Andhra Pradesh.

                                            NOTIFICATION

“In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 77 of the Andhra
Pradesh Re-organization Act, 2014 (Act 6 of 2014), the Government of India, in the

Government hereby order that the employees of the Secretariat Departments
mentioned in Annexure of this order, shall serve provisionally on and from the 2nd
day of June, 2014, in connection with the affairs of the State of Telangana until further
orders from the Government of India.

3. This order shall not confer any right on these persons in respect of their final
allocation and the Government of India may finally allocate them to the any of the
successor States in accordance with the provisions of the Act and extant guidelines
framed thereunder.

5. The Special Chief Secretary / Principal Secretary / Secretary of the
Departmentshall relieve the employees mentioned in the Annexure immediately, with
a direction to report before the Secretary of the concerned department of the State of
Telangana. The concerned Secretary shall verify the entries in the Service Register and
record a service verification certificate in the Service Book of the Employees. The
Special Chief Secretary / Principal Secretary / Secretary of the Telangana
Government shall inform the joining details of the employee to the State
Reorganisation Departments of the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.”
