Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014 – Employees working in the Head of the

Department Offices – Order to Serve Provisionally in connection with affairs of the State of Telangana under sub-section (1) of Section 77 of the Act 6 of 2014 - Orders – Issued.

Personnel, and Training, Order No. 2 of F.No.27/12/2013-SR (S) dated 31.05.2014

O R D E R:

1. In the reference second read above, the Government of India has notified the Andhra

Pradesh Re-organization Act. 2014, reorganisting the existing State of Andhra Pradesh into States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In the reference third read above, the

Government of India has notified June 02, 2014 as the appointed date for giving effect to the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014.

2. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 77 of the Andhra

Pradesh Re-organization Act, 2014 (6 of 2014), the Government of India in the reference

4th read above, directed that the persons specified in the Annexure to the above said order, who belong to the organized State-wide cadres in respect of the Heads of Departments’ posts in the Headquarter, serving in connection with the affairs of the existing state of Andhra Pradesh, which, on and from the 2nd Day of June, 2014 form part of the affairs of both the successor States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana shall serve provisionally on and from that day in connection with the affairs of the State of Telangana until further orders.

3. In pursuance of the above directions of Government of India, the Government

hereby order that the persons specified in the annexure to this order, belonging to the

organized State cadres in respect of the Heads of Departments’ posts in the Headquarter

offices, serving in connection with the affairs of the existing state of Andhra Pradesh, which, on and from the 2nd day of June, 2014 form part of the affairs of the successor States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana shall serve provisionally on and from that day in

connection with the affairs of the State of Telangana until further orders of Government of India.

4. This order shall not confer any right on these persons in respect of their final

allocation and the Government of India may finally allocate them to any of the successor

States in accordance with the provisions of the Act and extant guidelines framed thereunder.

5. The Head of the Departments shall immediately relieve the Employees mentioned in

the Annexure immediately, with a direction to report before the designated Officers in the

offices of the Head of the concerened Department of Government of the State of Telangana. The Head of the Department shall verify the entries in the Service Register and record Service Verification Certificate in the Service Book of the Employee.

6. The Head of the Department shall not retain any employee who has been

provisionally ordred to serve the State of Telangana beyond the evening of June 01, 2014,

on any ground and any delay in relieving the employee will attract disciplinary action.

7. The departments of the Secretariat and the Head of the Departments shall take

necessary further action in the matter.

8. The following Notification shall be published in the Gazette of Andhra Pradesh.

                                                       Notification

“In pursuance of the directions of Government of India under sub-section (1) of
