ORDER:
Home Department in their U.O read
above has stated that based on the orders of the Supreme Court, the Inter-se
seniority of the Inspectors of Police has been revised and consequently the
promotions already given in the cadre of Dy. Superintendent of Police have also
been reviewed and a revised seniority list has been prepared. The Department
has stated that in the final seniority list 149 new candidates have figured
above 20 candidates who are already working as Dy. Superintendent of Police and
who do not have posts. The Department has requested for creation of (169) posts
of Dy. Superintendent of Police on Supernumerary basis to give promotions as
per the revised seniority and also to avoid reversion to the 20 candidates who
are already working.
2 Government, after careful examination of
the matter, hereby create 169 (One Hundred and Sixty Nine only) posts of Dy. Superintendent
of Police on Supernumerary basis in the scale of Rs 20680-46960, subject to the
condition that the appointment /continuance to these posts will be on ad-hoc
basis till the individuals get regular promotion in their due turn, after which
the post will cease to exist.
3 Home Department shall ensure that the
creation of above (169) posts of Dy. Superintendent of Police shall not affect the
ongoing process of allocation of state cadres under the A.P Reorganization Act,
2014.
4 Home(Ser.I)
Department shall take further action in the matter.
