ORDER:
Whereas, section 100 of the A.P. Re-organisation Act, 2014 provides that the provisions of Part II shall not be deemed to have affected any change in the territories to which the Andhra Pradesh Land Reforms ( Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings) Act, 1973, ( Andhra Pradesh act No. 1 of 1973 ) and any other law in force immediately before the appointed day extends or applies, and territorial references in any such law to the State of Andhra Pradesh shall, until otherwise provided by a competent Legislature or other competent authority be construed as meaning the territories within the existing State of Andhra Pradesh before the appointed day:

2. AND WHEREAS, under Section 9 of both the A.P. Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootlegers, Dacoits, Drug Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Land Grabbers Act, 1986 (Act No. 1 of 1986), and the Andhra Pradesh Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Communal Offenders Act 1984 ( Act No. 30 of 1984) the Government shall, whenever necessary, constitute one or more Advisory Boards for the purposes of the said Acts and every such Board shall consist of a Chairman and two other members, who are, or have been Judges or are qualified to be appointed as Judges of a High Court.

3. AND WHEREAS, it has since become necessary to constitute an Advisory Board consequent on formation of the State of Telangana.

4. NOW THEREFORE, after careful consideration, the Government hereby constitute an Advisory Board on Preventive detentions, under the relevant provisions of the various Preventive Detention Acts including the Central Acts in force, with immediate effect, with the following:

1. Hon’ble Sri Justice V.Bhaskara Rao,

3. Sri B.Rajanna,

5. Accordingly, the following notification shall be published in an Extra ordinary issue of Telangana Gazette, dated: 05.08.2014.

                                     NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the clause (a) of section 8 of the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974 (Central Act No.52 of 1974); sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 (Central Act No. 7 of 1980); sub-section (1) of section 9 of the National Security Act, 1980 (Central Act No.65 of 1980); sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Communal Offenders Act, 1984 ( Act No.30 of 1984); sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Boot-Leggers, Dacoits, Drug Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Land Grabbers Act, 1986 (Act No.1 of 1986) and clause (a) of section 9 of the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic
Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1988 (Central Act No.46 of 1988), the Government hereby constitute an Advisory Board on Preventive Detentions under the aforesaid Acts with immediate effect with the following:-
