E R:-
In the
G.O. 1st read above, the Government have fixed seat matrix and formulated
the admission procedure in to Un-aided Non-Minority Professional Institutions
in the State from the academic year 2008-09. In the above said rules 50% of the
sanctioned intake of seats shall be filled by the Competent Authority, 20% of
sanctioned intake of seats shall be filled by Managements of the unaided
non-minority professional institutions in a transparent manner based on EAMCET
ranking and 30% of sanctioned intake of seats shall be filled by the individual
College Managements/ Committee of Managements in the
order of merit in a transparent manner as specified in rule 6 of the said rules.
2. In
the reference 3rd & 5th read
above, the Commissioner, Ayush, Andhra
Pradesh, Hyderabad and the Commissioner, AYUSH, Telangana State, have requested
the Government to increase the “C” Category Management seats from 30% to 40%
and reduce the “B” Category seats from 20% to 10%.
3. The
Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health Services, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has
also recommended the proposal vide reference 4th read above.

Government after careful examination of the proposal have decided to amend the
Andhra Pradesh Unaided Non-Minority Professional Institutions (Regulations of
Admissions into Under Graduate AYUSH Professional Courses) Rules, 2008 issued
vide reference 1st read above enhancing the “C” category seats from 30% to
40% by reducing the “B” category seats from 20% to 10% respectively.

Accordingly, the following notification shall be published in the Extraordinary
issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated -10-2014.
NOTIFICATION
In
exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 3 and 15 of the Andhra
Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Prohibition
of Capitation Fee) Act, 1983 (Andhra Pradesh Act No.5 of 1983)
the Governor of Telangana hereby make the following amendments
to the Andhra Pradesh Un-aided Non-Minority Professional
Institutions (Regulations of Admissions into Under
Graduate
Ayush Courses) Rules, 2008 issued in G.O.Ms.No. 131, Health,
Medical & Family Welfare (R2) Department., dated 25-04-2008 and
published in A.P.Extraordinary Gazette dt.28-04-2008.
A M E N D M E N T
In the
said rules,
For
rule 4 “ Allotment of Seats”,
against Category ‘B’ and ‘C’ the following
shall be substituted namely:-
“The
seats to be allotted in each Unaided Non- Minority Professional Institutions
under these Rules for admission of candidates against category
B & C shall be classified as:
Category-B
: (10% of the sanctioned intake of the seats)
EAMCET
ranking based Management Seats:-
The
seats shall be filled through counseling by the Committee for Admissions
constituted by the Competent Authority as per merit from
the candidates who are qualified at the common entrance test,
EAMCET held by the State for that year and following the rules
of reservation.
Category-C
: (40% of the sanctioned intake of the seats) “Management
Seats”:-
The
seats shall be filled by the Managements of individual
College
Managements / Committee of Managements in the order of
merit in a transparent manner by following the procedure as specified
in these rules”.
