O R D E R:-
The Empowered Monitoring Committee (EMC) under Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH), Government of India has considered for establishment of Centre for Excellence for Flowers, Vegetables and Fruits production with technical assistance from State Horticulture Mission, Haryana (CoE, Ghauranda) and to provide financial assistance for creation of infrastructure with a total cost of the Project Rs.1000.00 lakhs, in the first meeting of EMC held on August 27, 2014., and recommended to EC for sanction of Rs.920.00 lakhs for establishment of Centre of
Excellence in Horticulture at Ranga Reddy District, Telangana. The balance cost of Rs.80.00 lakhs will be borne by the State Government. State will follow codal formalities
like floating of global tenders for sourcing of material for the centre. The infrastructures proposed to be taken are Hi -Tech Nursery, Net House, Green House with Fan and Pad Cooling System, Poly House, Low Tunnel, Post Harvest Management facilities. 


2. The Commissioner of Horticulture, Telangana has stated in the letter read above, as per the annual action plan of Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) 2014-15, approved by National Horticulture Mission and requested to approve the tender committee members and issue orders permitting the Commissioner of Horticulture, Telangana to call global tenders for proposed Centre of Excellence at Jeedimetla, Ranga Reddy District with the following members. 


3. Government after careful examination of the matter hereby constitute the Committee with following members:-


1. Commissioner of Horticulture, Telangana. ……Chairman.
2. Executive Director, State Horticulture Mission, .…. Member/Convenor Telangana.
3. Managing Director, A.P., Agros. ……………… Member.
4. Scientist (Eng) from Professor Jayashankar …… Member
Telangana State Agriculture University, Telangana.
5. Principal Scientist Floriculture, …… Member Horticulture University.
6. Principal Scientist, Precision Farming ……. ……... Member
Development Centre
7. Manager, CIPET, Hyderabad and………… ……… Member.
8. Deputy Director of Horticulture/ ADH (PHM)… Member.

4.  The Tender Committee shall follow the provisions/norms of Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture Scheme and follow codal formalities like floating of global
tenders for sourcing of material for the centre with technical assistance from State Horticulture Mission, Haryana (CoE, Ghauranda).
 

5.  The Commissioner of Horticulture, Telangana, Hyderabad shall take necessary further action in the matter accordingly.
