ORDER:-
In the letter 1 st read above, Government of India, Ministry of Women and Child
Development, New Delhi have called for nominations for the Stree Shakti Puraskar
Awards (2015) given annually to recognize individual women who have made an
outstanding work preferably in exceptional circumstances to individual men or
women/group of women/academic institutions /NGOs/State Commissions for Women
etc. in the broad/disaggregated areas /activities coming under the promotion of
economic empowerment, social empowerment, effective implementation of women
related legislations and gender mainstreaming, in the name of Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar,
Kannagi, Mata Jijabai Gaidinliu Zealiang, Rani Lakshmi Bai and Rani Rudramma Devi.
The awards will be presented by the Government of India in New Delhi on 8 th March,
2015. and requested the State Government to furnish one name for each of the awards
to them.
2.  Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby constitute a State
Level Screening Committee with the following:-

3.  The Screening Committee shall examine the nominations and recommend
names of deserving individuals to the respective awards for the year 2015.
