the Managing Director, T.S. Sheep and Goat Development
Cooperative Federation Limited, Hyderabad to the Government.

O R D E R:
The Director of Animal Husbandry, TS, Hyderabad in the reference 2 nd read above, has
informed that the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India has passed orders dt. 27-8-2013 in W.P. (Civil)
No.309 /2003 filed by Sri Laxmi Narain Modi that a Committee shall be constituted for the effective
management of Slaughter Houses, keeping in view the provisions of Acts, Rules regulations,
legislations etc., on prevention of cruelty to animals, animal preservation, transportation, method of
slaughter and solid waste disposal etc.,
2.  The Managing Director, T.S. Sheep and Goat Development Cooperative Federation Limited,
Hyderabad in the reference 3 rd read above has requested the Government for constitution of a
Slaughter House Management Committee for management of Chengicherla Slaughter house.
3.  Government, after careful examination, hereby constitute the Slaughter House
Management Committee with the following Members for management of Chengicherla Slaughter
House:

4.  The Managing Director, Telangana State Sheep & Goat Development Cooperative
Federation Limited, Hyderabad shall take necessary further action accordingly.
