Read the following:
1. Lr.No.3(2)/2005-EGD(Vol.III), dated 04th June 2010 from DIT, MCIT, GoI.

ORDER:
                      The Department of Information Technology (DIT), Ministry of Communications and
Information Technology (MCIT), Government of India (GoI), New Delhi vide reference read above has requested the State/UTs to constitute a SWAN Management Committee for effective and optimal
use of important core e-Governance Infrastructure namely SWAN and advised State/UT to constitute
a SWAN management Committee as there is limited provision of Intranet Bandwidth for transaction
of G2G usage on SWAN.

2. Government of Telangana hereby constitute the SWAN Management committee as follows:

Secretary, ITE&C                                             - Chairman
Representative from Finance dept.                   - Member
Representative from Deity, GoI                       - Member
Director (Communications)                             - Member / Convener

3. Terms of reference for the committee are:

i. Due to limited provision of Intranet Bandwidth for transaction of G2G usage,
departmental offices connectivity assignment to SWAN and monitoring of SWAN usage
will be top priority.

ii. To firm up a tentative policy of security aspects for the applications and the SWAN
network segments till the services are hosted and provided from local servers and not at
the State Data Centre.
