O R D E R:-

             In the letter read above, the Registrar(i/c), Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural
University, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad has informed that the students of Agricultural
Engineering Polytechnic submitted a representation to the University for Creation of
15% of supernumerary seats for admission into the B.Tech (Agril.Engg) course, similar
to that of diploma holders of Agriculture and Seed technology. The Academic council
has passed a resolution for Creation of 15% of supernumerary seats for admission into
the B.Tech (Agril.Engg) course, similar to that of diploma holders of Agriculture and
Seed technology and also for their entry into the second year B.Tech (Ag.Engg.) vide
92nd Academic Council resolution No. 2690 dated 31-12-2013, in view of the
comprehensive syllabus of (3) year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering holders, which
will suffice the requirement of first year B.Tech (Ag.Engg). The Registrar(i/c), ANGRAU
has therefore requested the Government, to create the 15% of supernumerary seats in
the B.Tech (Agril.Engg.) to the diploma holders of Agril. Engineering to enable the
University to provide admission to them into the 2nd year B.Tech (Agri.Engg.), lateral
entry in the University from the academic year 2015-16.

2. Government after careful examination, hereby accord permission to the
Registrar(i/c), ANGRAU for creation of 15% of supernumerary seats in the B.Tech
(Agril.Engg.) to the diploma holders of Agril. Engineering to enable the University to
provide admission to them into the 2nd year B.Tech (Agri.Engg.), lateral entry in the
University from the academic year 2015-16.

3. The Registrar(i/c), Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Rajendranagar,
Hyderabad shall take further necessary action in the matter.
