Shri Justice Ajit Singh to Perform the Duties of the Office of the Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court

In exercise of the powers conferred by article 223 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Ajit Singh, senior-most Judge of Rajasthan High Court, to perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice of that High Court with effect from 23rd August, 2015 consequent upon the retirement of Shri Justice Sunil Ambwani, Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court.

Appointment of Additional Judges in Gauhati High Court

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (1) Shri Nishitendu Chaudhury, (2) Shri Lanusungkum Jamir and (3) Shri Manash Ranjan Pathak, to be Additional Judges of the Gauhati High Court, for a period of three months with effect from 22nd August, 2015.

ACC Appointments

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following:

1. Entrustment of additional charge of the post of Chairman & Managing Director, India Trade Promotion Organisation to Shri J.S. Deepak, IAS (UP:82) for the period from 3.4.2015 till 2.7.2015 and continuation of additional charge of the post of CMD, ITPO entrusted to Shri J.S. Deepak for a period of three months from 3.7.2015 or until assumption of charge by a regular appointee, whichever is earlier.

2. The extension of tenure of Shri C.B.S. Venkataramana, IAS (TG:82), Additional Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy upto 30.9.2015 i.e. date of his superannuation.
