ORDER:-
In accordance with the instructions issued by the Hon’ble Chief
Minister., the Commissioner & Director of Agrl. Marketing was requested
to release Rs.10.00 Crores (Rupees ten crores only) as advance to the
Managing Director, Civil Supplies Corporation for undertaking operation
for procurement of Onions from Kurnool and supply to 78 Rythu Bazars
from 29.07.2015 at Rs.20/- per Kilogram. The Commissioner & Director of
Agrl. Marketing, A.P., Hyd. & CEO, Rythu Bazars were also directed to
provide indent and full support to the officials of Civil Supplies Corporation
in procurement at Kurnool Market Yard and distribution at Rythu Bazar
point and ensure that there are no problems. The Commissioner &
Director of Agrl. Marketing in his letter dt. 28.7.2015 has reported that,
Rs.10.00 Crores has been released to the MD., Civil Supplies Corporation
on 28.7.2015 through TRGS in favour of VC&MD,AP State Civil Supplies
Corporation to their Account No.10811908596,State Bank of India,
Kompalli Branch, Hyderabad.
2. Government have issued detailed guidelines in the reference 3rd, 4th
and 5th read above for procurement and supply of Onions to ensure
transparency in the process.
3. In the reference 7th read above, Government have also permitted
the Commissioner &Director of Agricultural Marketing, to release Rs.5.00
Crores as a grant from Central Market Fund towards supply of onions to
the Rythu Bazars and other outlets in addition to the amount of Rs. 10.00
Crores already released from Central Market Fund Funds along with
instructions.
4. Now, the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, A.P. State Civil
Supplies Corporation Ltd. has submitted a proposal vide reference 8th read
above, for release of further funds to a tune of 10.00 crores to A.P. State
Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. to meet the expenditure for purchases and
the A.P. State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. has incurred an amount of

Rs. 16.68 Crores as on 20.08.2015 and an amount of Rs.8.08 crores has
been realized on sale of Onions through Asst. Dir. (Mktg.) and Estate
Officers in Rythu Bazars so far. Further a decision has been taken to
increase the purchase of Onion to 400.00 Mts per day and to continue the
purchases upto the end of August 2015 to control price hike in the open
market.
5. Government after careful examination of the matter hereby permit
the Commissioner & Director of Agricultural Marketing, A.P., Hyderabad to
release Rs.10.00 Crores (Rupees Ten Crores only) as a grant from Central
Market Fund towards supply of onions at subsidized rates to the Rythu
Bazars and other outlets in addition to the amount of Rs. 15.00 Crores
already released from Central Market Fund Funds.
6. The Commissioner & Director of Agricultural Marketing, A.P.,
Hyderabad shall take further action accordingly.
